Job Description

Are you passionate about mental health and employment? Are you results-orientated, and comfortable working in a target-driven enviroment? If so, we want to hear from you. Twining Enterprise is currently looking to recruit two talented Employment Specialists to join our dynamic and performing teams in both Barnet and Haringey. Through our work across West and North London, we support people with mental health problems to find and sustain mainstream employment; and we do this through the internationally recognized Individual Placement and Support (IPS) approach. As as Employment Specialist will need to be comfortable working in a results-oriented environment, supporting delivery of key contracts and building productive high-quality relationships with our clients, and our partners.

What we're looking for in applicants. 

You should be positive, professional, self-motivated and confident engaging with a range of stakeholders 

You must have a strong belief in the value of employment in supporting good mental health, and be empathetic, person-centered and committed to equal opportunities and diversity

We expect you to be open to feedback and proactive in addressing self-development needs

You should have an understanding and experience of the support needs of people with severe and enduring mental health problems in returning to/retaining mainstream employment

You should have knowledge and experience of working in an NHS setting and good understanding of NHS process and procedure.

 You'll have experience of of working effectively in a target-driven environment and know how to complete a needs assessment as well as having action planning skills

You'll have excellent interpersonal & communication skills, and be confident presenting to employers, teams of health professionals and other stakeholders

You'll have good organisational and prioritisation skills, and be competent in accurate record keeping, administration & the main Microsoft Office packages

You should have the ability to travel throughout Haringey and/or Barnet the wider London area and wiillingness to work flexibly in response client’s needs, including occasional out- of-office hours.

Desirable experience includes working effectively with clinical teams, knowledge of employment law and the Equality Act 2010 alongside other industry standard policies related to Health & Safety, Confidentiality (Data Protection), Equality & Diversity and Sustainable Development
