Hours: 37 hours per week

Salary: £28,959 per annum

Contract length: 9 month fixed term contract

We have been successful in securing funding from Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole Council through their Bounce Back Challenge Fund. The aim of the fund is to turbo charge innovative projects across the conurbation and drive long term economic growth.

We need someone who can help us to significantly boost our support to develop and sustain the voluntary and community sector by providing professional fundraising advice, coupled with our expertise in business development, good governance and quality practice, to ensure organisations deliver what is needed across the BCP area.

The role of funding advisor will be integral in ensuring we are successful in this.

About you

You’ll have a good understanding about the role of the voluntary and community sector and passion for the work the sector does for our communities.

You’ll have experience of successfully attracting a diverse range income streams within a VCS organisation including grants and trusts with experience in other means of fundraising and have excellent listening and  communication skills, to be able to interact and explain information, in a clear and understandable way, to a wide range of individuals and groups
