Services Manager – Adult Carers
Care for the Carers

Job Description

This role will coordinate, develop and deliver quality support services for carers through a variety of approaches including group activities, one-to-one targeted support and respite opportunities, and ensure appropriate strategies are in place to proactively identify carers.

The successful applicant will be a skilled strategic manager with excellent communication, IT and organisational skills. Experience of establishing new services based on client need and of strategic development is essential, as is experience of delivering group and one-to-one support to carers or other vulnerable clients.

Office space for the post-holder will usually be provided at Care for the Carers’ office in Eastbourne (currently closed due to Covid-19), or at potential office spaces in our Satellite Carers Centres to be developed in 2021/22 in Hastings and Uckfield, and with remote working available. You will also be required to travel within East Sussex, working from community settings as required.
