The Hepatitis C Trust has been delivering high quality assured training across the UK for nearly 2 decades. We have developed unique and novel training packages for all professionals who provide services or care to those living with or otherwise affected by hepatitis C. We are also subscribed to the Information Standard Charter.

Currently we have a Scottish Office and 20 plus staffed community projects in England as well as a presence across the whole Prison estate. A key part of the success of these projects is the training support provided to all staff, volunteers and key stake holders.

We have a comprehensive induction and training programme that enables the staff & volunteers to perform regulated activities in the community, bridging the gap between the clinicians and the patients who as a group are often ostracised by society and suffer from stark health inequalities.

We are now looking to further strengthen our training department by recruiting a trainer with excellent engagement skills and expertise in delivering training modules across a range of platforms, utilising blended and remote learning as well as face to face packages.

Another key part of this development is transitioning more of our training resources onto our virtual learning portal.

The candidate should have a professional teaching or training qualification and also an accredited award in assessment would be preferable. A clear understanding of educational & developmental theoretical models and their application in a Health & Social Care setting is essential in this role.

Ideally you will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience successfully delivering similar training packages; both accredited and in house bespoke modules. With a proven track record of assisting both staff and vulnerable adults develop both educationally and on a personal level to their maximum potential.

Working under the guidance of the Head of Training and Development you shall have responsibility for the development, implementation, monitoring and reporting on all aspects of our training & service delivery.
