National Volunteer Manager
The Hepatitis C Trust

Job Description

The Hepatitis C Trust has developed a national network of Peer based projects to meet the needs of patients who have been affected by hepatitis C. Currently we have 20 plus projects with over 100 volunteers who work in partnership with local NHS Trusts to locate, Link & Support patients into and along the care pathway

We have a comprehensive induction and training programme that enables the peers to perform regulated activities in the community, bridging the gap between the clinicians and the patients who as a group are often ostracised by society and suffer from stark health inequalities.

We are now looking to further enhance the volunteer experience at the trust by providing a comprehensive package of training and support that will take their development to the next level.

The candidate should have managerial experience and qualifications as well as a clear understanding of educational & developmental theoretical models. Ideally you will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience successfully managing similar projects with a proven track record of helping vulnerable adults develop both educationally and on personal level to their maximum potential.

Working under the guidance of the Head of Training and Development you shall have responsibility for the design, implementation, monitoring and reporting on all aspects of service delivery.

The client requests no contact from agencies or media sales.
