As part of the national Improving Access to Psychological Therapies Programme (IAPT), Solent Mind, in partnership with Southern Health Foundation NHS Trust are delivering an exciting service called italk. This large IAPT service works across Hampshire.

Hours: 1 x 37 Hours Per Week, 1 x 33.5 Hours Per Week
Salary Range: £22,829 to £24,584 Pro Rata Per Annum
Location: Eastleigh (West Hub)/Currently Remotely Working From Home

You will provide employment advice, information and practical support to help people who are currently employed to retain their employment. For example individuals going through the absence management process, grievance/disciplinary procedure where their employment issue is affecting their work or work is impacting on their mental health.
The role will involve working with a caseload of clients providing advice and support. This will be mainly over the telephone but also occasional visits (when practical) to client’s workplace to support in formal meetings. This may also be undertaken via online platforms.
This would suit some-one who is CIPD qualified or equivalent, but if you have a good knowledge and sound understanding of employment issues and how this could impact on an individual’s mental health; excellent IT skills, communication skills, both written and verbal this could be the role for you.
