HWCP are recruiting a new role that will be part of a social action movement at a time where the community needs are greatest?

Place Based Social Action Co-Ordinator

£29,737 per annum (37 hours per week, including occasional out of hours) 28 days Holiday plus public holidays and 3% Pension contribution

Fixed term contract until March 2022

The role requires an enhanced DBS check and references

Hartcliffe and Withywood Community Partnership is a registered charity, representing and working on behalf of residents living on estates on the Southern edge of Bristol. Our vision is for all people in the communities we serve to have an equal chance to lead successful, healthy and happy lives. We are here to make Hartcliffe, Withywood and surrounding areas places that work for everybody by ensuring that our community has the capacity and confidence to make decisions about local issues. We believe in empowering local residents and building communities.

Project Summary. Funded through the National Lottery Community Fund and Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport to  create positive change by enabling people, communities, local non-statutory organisations and the statutory sector to work collaboratively to create a shared vision for the future of their place, and address local priorities through social action.

  • We have pride of place for our environment, owned and looked after by local people
  • Everyone is welcome and feels safe
  • Individuals and communities can have a positive impact on their Health and Wellbeing
