Infant Mental Health Worker
croydon drop in

Job Description

We have a unique opportunity to join our Infant Mental Health Team working with infants & children under 5 years old and their parents/carers following a successful bid to the NHS CYP-IAPT ‘Recruit To Train’ programme.

Job purpose: To study and qualify on the CYP-IAPT training (2.5 days pw) at the same time as working within the CDI Infant Mental Health Team (2.5 days pw) with 0-5 year olds and their parent/carers

This is a training position and so all candidates will need to apply for both the role at CDI and the UCL Post Graduate Diploma in Child and Young Person IAPT Therapy:Under Fives Module (IMH) - for more information about the course, minimum entry criteria see the details in the How to Apply section.

Applicants must apply for both a place on the course and for the post with CDI at the same time. The job and the course go hand-in-hand, and the process of applying for a job and a place on the course happen concurrently. In order to secure an interview offer, prospective trainees will need to successfully obtain a course place offer from UCL. So, in order to be successful in recruitment, the University staff need to approve you as suitable for the course and CDI would also have to select you for the role via our separate interview process.
