£35 to £38k pa full time

Our CEO will be crucial to leading this much valued organisation into its next stage of development.  We are looking for a dynamic, collaborative leader and manager with strong communication skills and creative ideas.  You will share ASCEND’s values, our commitment to social justice and our empathetic and person-centred approach to our clients.

As CEO you will work closely with a supportive board of Trustees to develop and drive the strategic plan for  ASCEND.  This is an exciting moment to lead the charity.  ASCEND has built a strong reputation for excellence in providing services with compassion for our clients in South West Hertfordshire.  We have developed from our original focus on providing advice and training to disadvantaged people.  We now also provide support for clients’ wellbeing and offer a local hub where clients can access a range of help from several charities.  You will lead a dedicated team of staff and volunteers who support clients to develop their skills, build their self-confidence, and improve their well-being.
