CONTEXT

MIF is planning an extraordinary return in Summer ‘21 to bring our city together again in a celebration of international culture, innovation and creativity.

As Volunteering Manager you’ll be responsible for setting up and delivering an inspirational volunteer programme giving people from all across our city opportunities to join in and contribute in safe, invigorating and inspiring ways.

You’ll work across teams at MIF, our partners and venues to reimagine volunteering in the post-Covid 19 era, and you’ll be part of the early discussion shaping future volunteering programmes at our future home The Factory. 

We’re looking for a dynamic individual with the imagination to adapt our existing volunteer programmes for the current moment, and the practical skills to deliver with diligence and skill. If this sounds like you – we’d love to hear from you!

JOB SUMMARY

Develop and manage Manchester International Festival’s volunteer scheme for MIF21 and feed into early stage plans for volunteer programmes at The Factory - working in partnership with appropriate organisations and agencies to deliver an engaging and fulfilling volunteer experience with a focus on inclusion and representation.
