Displaced Young Person's Programme Manager (Redhill)
Big Leaf Foundation

Job Description

You'll be embarking on a challenging and rewarding role, launching a new programme of activities to support displaced young people in and around Redhill.

Big Leaf Foundation is a charity working with displaced young people in Surrey. Our aim is to provide a nurturing programme of activities, projects and events that focus on combating social isolation and improving wellbeing for the young people we support.

Until now Big Leaf Foundation has primarily provided support to displaced young people in Guildford and the surrounding area – through regular projects and activities that focus on combating social isolation, building a safe and welcoming community and improving health and wellbeing. But we’re delighted that we now have funding in place to expand our activities and we’re pleased to invite applications for the role of part-time Programme Manager (contractor) to lead a varied programme of activities within the Redhill area of Surrey and contribute to the overall development of Big Leaf’s activities and approach.

You will work closely with Big Leaf Foundation’s existing Programme Manager, Caseworker, trustees and other partners to assess the needs of displaced young people and to develop a programme of activities to address these needs.

You will also be charged with the coordination and management of the young people taking part in the programme, working within our safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure their safety and wellbeing at all times.
