Job Description

Would you like to make a difference and work for an outstanding charity committed to building and strengthening families?

Chief Executive Officer

Full time, permanent

Based in Reading

Salary circa £90k pa plus local government pension scheme

PACT is an amazing charity providing adoption and family support services which help hundreds of families every year. PACT is a values driven organisation, where people are genuinely passionate about delivering positive outcomes for children, vulnerable women and families.

Our CEO Jan Fishwick OBE, who has been an outstandingly successful leader for 13 years, is planning to retire early in 2021 and so we are seeking a new leader to take PACT forward as we enter our next phase of growth and development. You will be supported in your work by a talented and committed senior management team, Board of Trustees, staff and volunteers.

To succeed in this role, you will be an inspiring, collaborative and creative leader. Ideally, you should bring a proven track record of strategic leadership and leadership skills together with experience in business development and organic change, corporate governance and finance and have knowledge of the voluntary sector.  An understanding of the development of digitizing products to maximise digital innovation would be an advantage.

This is a challenging and very exciting role with enormous potential for the right person to extend both the reach and the range of our services.  If you are a highly motivated individual who is passionate about our work we would love to hear from you.

Closing date: noon, Wednesday 30th September 2020

Initial interviews: week commencing 12th October 2020
