Job Description

Thames Valley Partnership is an established charity of over 25 years, delivering a range of services to support those who are vulnerable and at risk of exclusion.  We also work to develop long-term solutions to the issues of crime and social exclusion, working at both practical and strategic level to influence policy and share good practice. We have a proven track record of supporting victims and survivors of domestic abuse as well as delivering training around this. Since 2010 we have been particularly involved in working to help develop, promote and roll out technological solutions to protect victims of domestic abuse on a national level, including TecSOS and the Bright Sky App.

The Role:

We now have an exciting role within a newly shaped learning function where there is a real appetite to embrace digital learning within this rapidly growing area. The purpose of this role is to design, develop and deliver a range of bespoke training packages to prevent and respond to domestic abuse and sexual violence. This role would ideally suit an innovative and organised person experienced in both creating and delivering training, ideally virtually and in the area of domestic abuse or similar. A good understanding of adult learning techniques is essential, along with a creative eye and a strong digital skillset. This is an exciting and rewarding role where you will also be involved in supporting an ongoing digital project currently in development with another charity and where you will make a real and positive impact on the safety and well-being of those who suffer domestic abuse.

Please note that this is a full time post on a salary of £35Kper annum and is offered on a fixed contract basis until March 2021 (however, there may be the possibility to extend this depending upon funding at that time).  The post is available to start asap.

The closing date for applications is: Wednesday 12th August 2020 at 1700hrs

Interviews (Virtually) Week Commencing 17th August 2020
