SERVING PERSONNEL FAMILY LIAISON PRACTITIONER
Hours: 37 Hours Per Week (including some evenings until 8pm and weekends)
Salary Range: £22,829 To £24,584 Per Annum
Location: Community based across Portsmouth, Fareham, Gosport and Isle Of Wight

Solent Mind are expanding our military mental health support to families of serving personnel.
Solent Mind in partnership with Solent NHS, Portsmouth CCG and Veterans Charities are proud to work with people in our community whose mental wellbeing has been impacted by life in the armed forces.
As the Serving Personnel Family Liaison Practitioner, you will be at the heart of these services by using your skills and experience to reach out and support the families of serving personnel across the region.
You will use your networking skills to build relationships with services that currently support families and support them in understanding what mental health services are available.
You will share your personal recovery experiences of life as a family member of someone who is serving in the navy in a safe and appropriate way, empowering them to attain greater independence and self esteem.
The Serving Personnel Family Liaison Practitioner has a particular focus on building relationships with families and community engagement. You will use your communication skills and presenting skills to learn and shape what support for serving personnel and veterans should look like going forward.
As this role is community based having access to a vehicle and holding a full driving licence is a must.
