Do you have the drive, skills and experience to make a difference for seriously ill children and their families by being part of the Programmes delivery team at Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity?

We provide specialist nurses and support to seriously ill children living with complex, lifelong conditions.

The role of the Programmes Support Officer is to work with the Head of Programmes in delivering our charitable activities, focused around the seed-funding of Roald Dahl Specialist Nurse posts in partnership with NHS Trusts and Health Boards across the UK.

The main duties of the role are:

• supporting our Roald Dahl Specialist Nurses
• organising the Roald Dahl nursing conference, workshops and induction days
• providing administrative support to the Programmes Department
• volunteer management
• co-ordination of safeguarding at the charity
• working with the team on evaluation and impact measurement of charitable activities
