Support 4 Sight are looking for a motivated person to become their new Chair of Trustees. Having recently been awarded the 2020 Queens Award for Voluntary Services, award-winning charity Support 4 Sight a CIO based in Essex are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated person to join its Board of trustess as our new Chair to replace our existing Chair who will be retiring in August, and we are now looking for applications from suitable individuals .

·Experienced in managing through an organizational transformation by offering leadership experience and emotional intelligence, to develop a high performing board and to ensure that it provides the right blend of support and challenge to the Chief Executive and staff team

·Experienced in fundraising, charity governance and be well connected in business will be an advantage;

·Able to commit the time, skills and experience needed to be both Chair and a trustee (c25 days a year).

The Role

The new Chair will join at a critical period for Support 4 Sight following recovery from the Covid 19 pandemic and will work closely with their fellow Trustees and the senior management to help shape and direct the future growth and development of the charity. 

Whilst this is a voluntary role, travelling expenses will be paid
