The School for Social Entrepreneurs (SSE) is looking for a head of learning and innovation. You will provide a transformational experience for the adults we support - so they can achieve social change. We believe that individuals are crucial catalysts in creating social change, and that their effectiveness can be increased through support, development and diverse networks.

About SSE

We can’t fix issues like poverty, climate change and ill-health alone. That’s why the School for Social Entrepreneurs exists. SSE helps 1,000 people a year develop the skills, strengths and networks they need to tackle society’s biggest problems.

About the role

The purpose of this role is to cultivate and develop SSE’s learning offer, putting innovation and creativity at the forefront. It will involve research into the needs of social entrepreneurs. You will be excited by understanding the latest methodology to enable transformative learning experiences. You will feel motivated by supporting social entrepreneurs, community businesses and social-sector leaders to achieve social change. You will lead a national team of learning staff across the UK and work collaboratively with SSE’s network across the UK, India and Canada.

This role will suit you if you care about social change, see the big picture, the small picture and everything in between. You will be an accomplished leader experienced in managing teams and able to translate ideas into reality.
