Job Description

Hours of work: Negotiable 24 to 30 hours per week ( 0.64 to 0.8 pro-rata)

The Green House is a Bristol-based charity dedicated to providing free, specialist therapy for children, young people, and adults affected by sexual abuse at any point in their lives. With over 30 years’ experience working in this area, we have developed a strong reputation for the quality and impact of our work. Based at our purpose-built therapy centre in St Paul’s, Bristol, our team also work across outreach sites in the north/south of the city.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead our flagship Children & Young People’s Therapeutic Service as we continue to innovate and grow the impact of the valuable work we do. Centered around using creative therapies, such as art and drama therapy, the service aims to give children and young people affected by sexual abuse an opportunity to recover and process their trauma. Grounded in a systemic approach, the team also includes our dedicated Family Support Practitioner offering support to parents and carers of our young clients.

We are seeking to recruit a committed therapist with extensive clinical and management experience to take on the role of our CYP Clinical Lead. You will be a professionally qualified and accredited practitioner, registered with an appropriate professional body. You will be responsible for leading our dynamic and supportive team of therapists, Family Support Practitioner and administrator, and will also hold a small caseload of CYP clients.
