About Midlands Air Ambulance Charity (MAAC)

Established in 1991, Midlands Air Ambulance Charity has successfully operated the regions pre-hospital helicopter-led emergency medical services for nearly 30 years. Working across six counties - the West Midlands, Staffordshire, Shropshire, Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire - we provide our lifesaving service for a growing population of 6 million. Every year we need to raise over £9 million to deliver a 365-day operation, which is entirely funded by the general public and local businesses within the region.

About the role - competitive salary and package, based in Stourbridge with attendance at off-site meetings across the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity operating region as required.

We are seeking and outstanding candidate to join an ambitious and forward-thinking Charity to lead on the management of governance (including providing Company Secretary Service to the Boards, Committees and Senior Leadership Team). The post holder develop, implement and maintain appropriate polices and procedures to ensure the organisation's adherence to laws, regulation and guidance.

About you:

You will hold an ICSA or equivalent qualification, have experience of leading governance functions, alongside significant management experience, ideally within the Charity or in the not for profit sectors. Demonstrating emotional intelligence, it is essential that you are a strong team player and can inspire and motivate those around you. You will be highly organised with the ability to prioritise and delegate, as well as bringing excellent communication skills with the confidence to support internal and external stakeholders.
