Job Description

We're Stay Brave. We won't give up until all survivors have the help they need and the respect they deserve. 

It's our mission to erase the barriers survivors of rape, sexual assault and domestic abuse, can face when asking for help. We do this by campaigning for better services, crafting policy and working with decision makers to improve access for every survivor.

Are you in savvy Finance profrossional looking to advance your skills or give back to the community? Then we want to meet you. 

We are seeking a Finance Manager with experience in day-to-day financial business management who can help us keep our books in order at the Charity. A successful candidate will be familiar with general bookeeping, financial systems (Sage) and reporting. 

Background

We’re a young charity wanting to take a modern approach to abuse and exploitation prevention. Stay Brave focuses on campaigning and working with legislatures and services to develop better policies for all survivors to ensure that they have access to the services they need. We work to make sure that any survivor of abuse, regardless of gender or orientation, gets the help they need and respect they deserve. 

You’ll be joining Stay Brave at an exciting time as we develop and implement an ambitious 5-year growth strategy and extending our reach to better serve our moral ownership – those affected by abuse and exploitation.

This is a start-up, entrepreneurial setting and the core team will be you and a board of 8 volunteers.

Commitment

This is a voluntary role with a commitment of at least 2 hours a week. This work can be completed remotely and in your own time.
