Job Description

If the answer is yes, we want to hear from you. Galloway’s is recruiting to a number of roles which will complement the existing skills within our board of trustees.

If you have experience of working at a strategic level and an understanding of the changing environment in which we are working then please get in touch.

We are specifically looking for a ‘Make it Happen’ finance person to replace our retiring Treasurer who will Chair our Finance Committee and work with our Head of Finance on our financial management, controls and investments.

We are also seeking to recruit new Trustees who are recognised leaders and have strong experience in the fields of:

  • Finance – to support the treasurer in all things finance.
  • Health and Social Care - to help drive our approach towards more Health and Wellbeing commissioned services
  • Income Generation and Communications - to support our strategy to grow our income and profile
  • Lived experience of sight loss – preferably someone who will provide a view from the perspective of younger people of working age.
