Portsmouth Integrated Commissioning Unit has commissioned Solent Mind (Lead Provider) together with Rowans Hospice to deliver a service to meet the needs of people with dementia and their carers in Portsmouth.  The service supports people from diagnosis to end of life.  We are currently recruiting for:

SERVICE MANAGER (REMIND)

Contract: Maternity Cover (Fixed Term To 01 Oct 2020)

Hours: 37 Hours Per Week

Salary Range: £27,542 to £29,662 per annum

Location: Portsmouth

Closing Date: Wed 28 Aug 2019 (Before 5.00pm)

Interview Date: W/C Mon 02 Sep 2019

The Service Manager will be employed to oversee the delivery of the Service.

The Service Manager will provide organisational leadership for the whole team with consistent focus on the outcomes to be achieved for both people with dementia and their carers and also development of Portsmouth as a Dementia Friendly Community (DFC).

The Service ‘Dementia Support Co-Ordination Team’ will work as one joined-up team, directed clinically by the Dementia Clinical Nurse Specialist and managed by the Service Manager.
