Job Description

We are searching for a Youth Work and Community Development Manager to start in September 2019. 

24 hours a week pro rata to an appropriate JNC management salary, negotiable dependent on experience 

 A successful candidate will ideally be able to provide evidence of competence and experience in each of three key areas:

• youth work practice, including hands-on youth work, organisation, staff supervision, and staff development
• community development: maintaining the trust of parents and community leaders so that the reputation and involvement of the club continues to flourish in the communities we serve.
• strategic development of an organisation, including fund raising and participating in business planning with the board of trustees.

Youth work experience is essential but some competencies may have been gained from other employment, life skills or voluntary work. We will take a flexible approach and would consider a candidate who has most but not all of the above ideal requirements.

Evening work will be required (arrangements to be agreed) and you should hold a clean driving licence and be able to drive our mini-bus or be willing to learn and qualify.
