Job Description

Join our growing professional development organisation, as part of the programme team providing face-to-face and online professional training and resources to teachers. You will be our first point of contact for educator enquiries, be responsible for coordinating programme events and opportunities, support key educator needs and relationships, and manage our social media content.

Role Overview

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Programme Administrator will be responsible for the successful administrative management of programme activities. 

We are looking for an effective administrator and communicator, with a graduate degree or work experience related to the charity sector, who can manage their time well and is IT proficient. 

Your Core Competencies, Skills and Experience

  • Degree or work experience relevant to the role. 

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and web tools.

  • Competency with technology, including Google, CRM and other software/tools.

  • Strong relationship building skills and an ability to maintain relationships over time. 

  • Effective communication skills - in writing and orally.

  • Ability to manage time and multiple tasks. 

  • Well-organised and detail-oriented. 

  • Maintain high level of confidentiality due to the nature of work. 

  • Ability to resolve most issues and tasks independently, escalating complex situations. 

  • Comfortable with using social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter.

  • You must be eligible to work in the UK. 

Key Duties and Accountabilities

The role will involve three key areas:

  • Educator relationship management, including providing support to teachers and schools and contributing to outreach communications via social media. 
  • Programme event support; including the management of event planning and logistics. 
  • General programme administrative support, including the maintenance of systems and supplies, calendars and databases.
