Trustee
nebosh

Job Description

NEBOSH is a global organisation specialising in courses and qualifications in health, safety, well-being and environmental management. Through a network of more than 600 Learning Partners in over 132 countries, more than half a million people have studied for a NEBOSH qualification.  Our qualifications are highly regarded by governments, employers, regulators and our learners. They build the knowledge and skills which underpin competent performance in health, safety and environmental management.

A registered charity, NEBOSH is celebrating its 40th anniversary and has achieved substantial growth over the past few years. We are now looking for Trustees to join us at an exciting time, with a new strategy in place to grow the charity’s business.

Applications are invited from individuals with knowledge and experience of working in a commercial environment, ideally with an international reach. Applicants do not need to be health and safety professionals and previous experience of being a Trustee is also not required as full training will be provided.  As well as those with long standing commercial experience these positions would also suit a person in the early to mid-stages of their career who may be looking to gain board experience as part of their professional development.

In line with the Charity Commission regulations no payment will be made for these positions, but all expenses will be reimbursed.

NEBOSH is an equal opportunities employer and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees and Trustees. We celebrate diversity and applications are actively encouraged from individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Please apply online to the Executive Assistant, Laura Wise, attaching a full CV and covering letter specifying the reasons for applying and how you meet the essential criteria stated in the person specification, which can be found in the 'Work for us' section of the NEBOSH website.

For an informal discussion please contact Laura Wise who can also arrange a call with a current Trustee if required. Contact details can be found in the additional documents section. The closing date for applications is Friday 13th September. Interviews will be held at the start of October.

The client requests no contact from agencies or media sales.
