We are currently recruiting for:
Service Manager – Positive Minds
Portsmouth Support & Recovery Service (PSR) – ref: SMPMjun19
37 hours per week to include some evening and weekend work
Salary: £27,542 - £29,662 per annum
Positive Minds is an open, accessible and inclusive place in Portsmouth where help and support is available to people aged 18+ facing distress in their lives, including specific work with the Veteran community.
Operated by Solent Mind in partnership with Solent NHS, Portsmouth CCG and Veterans Charities, there are a range of activities, training, life coaching and other community support services offered both in 1 to 1 and group based sessions.
As Service Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of the running and development of Positive Minds, and leads the team of staff and volunteers.
With consistent focus on ensuring positive outcomes are achieved for people looking to access services, their carers, our commissioning funders and delivery partners, you will oversee day to day operations, ensuring the delivery of an outstanding service for everyone accessing Positive Minds. In addition, you will lead on the strategic monitoring and development of the service and its integration into Portsmouth Support and Recovery services.
You will also lead on the management of all staff and budgets, service reporting to senior stakeholders and partners, promoting and championing the service to local people and relevant professional networks, and the future development of the Positive Minds service based on Service User feedback and sector developments.
