Job title: Activity Manager – Residential Holidays
Salary: £22,592 (Pro-rata)
Contract Type: 35 hours per week12 month contract; our expectation would be to offer a permanent contract at the end of the year, subject to performance and funding.
Working Hours: The role requires a flexible working schedule to include time spent away on residential holidays, evening working at social clubs and office time i.e. the number of hours worked each week may vary due to time spent on residential holidays, but over a month this will equate to a 35-hour a week contract.
Location: Oxfordshire and residential holiday locations; flexibility required.

We have an opportunity for a new team member to join us as an Activity Manager – Residential Holidays; taking the lead on our adults’ residential holiday programme. This role will involve delivering and developing our adults’ residential holiday programme; the successful applicant requires exceptional organisational ability and should have a proactive nature, as well as a willingness to support and get involved in Yellow Submarine’s activities. A sense of fun is a must!

Job Description

To oversee, develop and deliver our adults’ residential programme as well as supporting with other activities across the organisation, in particular our social activities for adults. The successful applicant requires exceptional organisational ability, experience of managing groups of vulnerable adults and/or young people, the ability to manage and support other staff and volunteers, as well as willingness to support and get involved across the organisation. They must be flexible, have the ability to solve issues whilst being responsive to the needs of the organisation and the needs of our members. They must work with colleagues across the organisation to ensure continuity of programmes.

Candidates will be required to undergo a DBS check.
