Are you passionate about supporting students and improving the student experience at UWL? Do you have an interest in extracurricular activity, building and developing communities of students? Are you driven to provide high quality service and support to students through our Community and belonging team? 

UWLSU are looking for TWO Community Development Coordinators to join their team.

These are key roles within the Community and Belonging team. They will support the delivery and development of our course based communities and academic groups within UWLs 8 academic schools, and lead on the development of cultural, faith and identity activity alongside our Events and Participation Manager. The post holder will work to ensure that our existing societies and course based communities are supported, seek to establish new student led events and campaigns, and to promote new communities in underrepresented groups and courses to maximise engagement and participation.

We are looking for two creative, organised individuals passionate about community development. You will have experience in working with and supporting student/youth groups to organise and deliver workshops, training and activity. You will have experience of working effectively on your own initiative and working to tight deadlines. You will have a strong commitment to equality and diversity, understand the importance of positive working relationships, display high levels of self-awareness and empathy and understand without a doubt that the union exists for its members.
