The Development and Alumni Relations Office (DARO) exists to support this academic and student community by engaging, inspiring, and celebrating alumni, individuals, and charitable funders who give their money, time, and networks to support the University’s strategic priorities.  The Office, which is comprised of 60 staff across five teams, is focused on fundraising and volunteering from alumni and individuals who are passionate about changing lives, through funding various research trials, supporting student bursaries, mentoring students, and providing internships.  We are currently shaping an innovative and ambitious fundraising campaign which aims to change lives both locally and globally.

As a DARO business partner for the College, you will be based both within DARO and the College itself. Working closely with colleagues across the College, the Fundraising and Volunteering team and wider DARO team, you will be responsible for developing a range of volunteering opportunities for alumni, which support the College’s key priorities across a diversified curriculum, the student experience, student recruitment, research, rankings and engagement.  You will be responsible for growing the number of alumni volunteers for the College, reporting on the impact of your work internally and the relationship management of a number of key alumni contacts.
