The Haven Wolverhampton are a leading Women’s Refuge based in Wolverhampton providing short-term, temporary accommodation to women and children.  It has a reputation for excellence and innovation.  We help families rebuild their lives after experiencing domestic violence, abuse and/or homelessness enabling them to face the future with confidence and hope. 

We are seeking to appoint a new Treasurer with experience of strategic financial management to join our strong and dedicated Board of Trustees.

The role of Treasurer is both interesting and highly valuable, giving insight into and a role in strategic development, delivery and sustainability of our services. The Treasurer will support the Board with developing strategy and providing oversight of financial management of The Haven Wolverhampton.

As Treasurer you will have a relevant qualification in accountancy or financial management and will have experience or knowledge of Charity Finance, fundraising and pension schemes.

Please note that due to the charitable status of The Haven Wolverhampton, this is an unpaid position and would require that individuals attend meetings of the Board and its Sub-Committees, Working Groups and Task and Finish Groups held in the daytime or occasional Saturday mornings. Reasonable expenses will be paid.
