Job Description

The Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) promotes the wellbeing of patients and the health of the wider public by setting and maintaining standards for education, training and practice of doctors working in the specialties of clinical radiology and clinical oncology.

We currently have one vacancy for a Lay Member to join our Clinical Oncology Professional Support and Standards Board.

As a Lay Member, you will provide the RCR with an independent lay input to its governance and provide oversight of its public benefit as a registered charity.

Ideally, you should have experience of contributing to boards or committees at a senior level, and a keen interest in, and knowledge of, healthcare in the UK. Experience in a similar role is desirable.

The appointment will be for three years from September 2018 - September 2021. While the role is voluntary, travel, subsistence and other expenses will be paid.
