Job Description

In this key role in the organisation, you will be responsible for leading the operations and delivery of the Peel’s community based projects, ensuring that they are high quality, meet the needs of users and are provided in a safe manner that complies with all relevant legislation and regulation.

Main responsibilities

Quality services

Ensure that the Peel’s services are high quality, responsive to the needs of users, meeting and reporting on contractual and other performance targets

Management

Day to day management and supervision of the Peel’s project staff. This currently comprises a team of 2 full time workers, 4 part time workers and roughly 20 volunteers.

Safeguarding

Act as safeguarding lead, ensuring that projects are provided in a safe manner, that staff receive appropriate training and support and that incidents are managed and reported.

Compliance

Ensure that the Peel’s projects comply with all relevant legislation and regulation including health and safety, human rights and equal opportunities legislation.
