Job Description

Who are we?

We are a rapidly growing charity seeking to accelerate change for those affected by brain tumours, which kill more children and adults under 40 in the UK than any other cancer. Our five-year strategy is ambitious and sets out plans to double survival from brain tumours and halve the harm they cause to quality of life.

Our exciting job role!

In this key operational role, you will lead a team and oversee our grant programme ; ensuring that, through comprehensive peer review, we only support the highest quality research, that our processes are efficient, and that we continuously monitor the programme’s outputs to maximise our investment.

This role is full time - 37.5 hours and will be based in our Farnborough office, with some out‑of‑hours working.

According to the job description you should also be a strong people manager, who holds a post-graduate research qualification in medical, biological or social sciences, with demonstrable experience in a research administration, grant making and working with Researchfish.
