The Ashley Foundation is Blackpool’s largest homelessness charity and offers accommodation with support to vulnerable single homeless people.  We are looking to appoint a part-time skilled Bookkeeper to maintain our financial records, including purchases, receipts and payments for our 27 bed hostel and 40 move-on flats based in Sunderland.

The ideal candidate will assist in managing our day-to-day accounting and finance requirements. Confidentiality, excellent organisational skills and accuracy are important qualifications for this position, as well as good customer relations and the ability to communicate clearly. The ideal candidate for this position is a skilled multi-tasker, is reliable and is committed to consistently meeting deadlines. Candidates should be energetic, hardworking, enthusiastic, and enjoy being part of a team.
