Solent Mind is the largest third sector provider of mental health services in the Hampshire region offering a range of high quality services to improve people’s mental wellbeing and to promote choice and rights to everyone who needs our support in communities across Southampton, Portsmouth and Hampshire. 

We are the provider for wellbeing services in the New Forest localities. The Wellbeing Centres provide a range of activities and support to service users both in the centres and in the community and group based activity.

We are recruiting for Weekend Support Advisors - Reference:  WSAnov18

1 based at Marcella House, Hythe & 1 based at The Hollies, New Milton

Part time - 12 hours per week - To be worked either Every Saturday & Sunday OR every Alternate Saturday & Sunday

Salary:  £15,069 - £16,230 pro-rata per annum

As a Weekend Support Advisor, working as part of a team, you will support service users to engage in a range of activities to promote and maintain positive mental health in a safe and welcoming environment with the aim of enabling service users to achieve a greater independence.

Activities delivered will be led with consultation with service users but could include for example, art, photography, outings and social events.
