HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER

Hours: 22.5 Hours Per Week (there is a possibility this role will become full time 37 hours per week pending funding. Please state preferred hours when applying)

Salary Range: £27,542 to £29,662 pro rata per annum

Location: Southampton

Closing Date: Wed 21 Aug 2019 (Before 9.00am)

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated, proactive and resilient HR professional, based at our Head Office in Southampton. The successful applicant must be able to work well under pressure, have personal and professional credibility and be able to deal with a wide range of HR issues. The role is busy and varied, encompassing all aspects of HR and is a great opportunity for someone wishing to develop their career. You will support the HR & Communications Director with generalist human resources and organisational development activities with specific emphasis on leading on:

  • Learning and development - including maximising use of our online resources, developing current training workshops for managers and staff on human resources issues/needs and delivering these as and when required
  • Developing our HR systems
  • Volunteering

You will have a CIPD qualification; experience of HR and volunteer management; experience of line management; experience of developing HR systems; experience of delivering learning & development; excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills and good IT and numeracy skills.
