COMMUNICATIONS & ENGAGEMENT TEAM LEADER

Contract: Fixed Term Until 31 March 2020

Hours: 22.5 Hours Per Week

Salary: £26,214 Pro Rata Per Annum

Location: Southampton

Closing Date: Tue 25 Jun 2019 (Before 9.00am)

Interview Date: W/C 08 Jul 2019

As Communications & Engagement Team Leader you will plan and deliver high quality communications both internally and externally to best promote Solent Mind’s aims and strategy.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the development and implementation of a Communications Strategy covering both internal and external communications.
• Managing our social networking sites – using them to promote Solent Mind and ensuring the organisation’s website and intranet are kept fresh, up to date and current.
• Maintaining a Communications and Events Calendar, identifying internal and external opportunities to raise the profile of Solent Mind.
• Supporting the HR & Communications Director with internal communications activity.
• Producing marketing materials for Solent Mind services.
• Acting as the contact for all media enquiries and writing press releases as required.
• Providing line management to the Communications & Engagement Officer.
