Solent Mind is the leading ­mental health charity across Hampshire providing a range of high quality services to improve people’s mental wellbeing and to promote choice and rights to everyone who needs our support. Our services operate in various locations throughout the Hampshire area.

We are currently delivering connect 5 training to local organisations and support services within the Solent area. Connect 5 is a mental health promotion training programme developed from a unique collaboration between Public Health England (PHE) & Health Education England (HEE). It is designed to increase the confidence and core skills of front line staff so that they can be more effective in having conversations about mental health and wellbeing, help people to manage mental health problems and increase their resilience and mental wellbeing through positive changes.  We are currently recruiting for:

CASUAL CONNECT 5 ACCREDITED TRAINERS

Hours: Variable

Salary Range: £15.00 Per Hour

(Full Time Equivalent Salary £28,860 Per Annum, Pro Rata For Hours Worked)

Location: Variable Within Hampshire

Closing Date: As we are always looking to expand our team there is no specific closing date for this role at present.

Interview Date: Interviews will be scheduled on a monthly basis for shortlisted candidates.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and professional individual with excellent interpersonal skills, to deliver Connect 5 training. You must be a Connect 5 accredited trainer, able to work flexibly and travel within the Hampshire region to deliver the training. You will be co-delivering with another trainer.

Working with the Business Development team, you will:

  • Be a Connect 5 accredited trainer
  • Able to work flexibly and travel within Hampshire to deliver Connect 5 training to external organisations.

This is a casual role and will be dependent on the demand for training. The expectation is for between 2 to 4 sessions to be delivered each week, but this cannot be guaranteed.
