Job Description

Could you be our next Snow-Camp London Programme Manager?

We are looking for a new London Programme Manager at Snow-Camp to manage our range of youth snowsports programmes.

Snow-Camp is the UK’s only registered charity using a unique combination of snowsports, life-skills sessions, qualifications and vocational opportunities to support inner-city young people.

This is a really exciting opportunity to play a key role in Snow-Camp’s development over the coming years. So if you love working with young people and have solid experience delivering youth programmes, combined with a passion for snowsports – and if you are looking for a challenging and rewarding role working with a committed team of staff at Snow-Camp and some amazing young people – this job could be the job for you!

Summary of Main Duties

The London Programme Manager, reporting to the Programme Director, is responsible for delivering and developing the full Snow-Camp London journey of programmes. Which involves a range of snowsports and life-skills focused youth activities run by Snow-Camp throughout the year, taking a young person form a beginner skier or snowboarder right through to a qualified Snowsport England Level 1 instructor. The role also includes managing all aspects of the Snow-Camp London Apprenticeship programme in partnership with our training provider.

Experience of working successfully with disadvantaged young people in a range of settings will be essential to the post. Furthermore, experience within a snowsports field and passion for supporting young people generally will be a huge advantage!

Project management skills, logistical skills, managing relationships, communication and presentation skills, experience of delivering life-skills or similar courses to motivate young people, excellent IT skills – these will all make up the job.

This is a key post within Snow-Camp requiring at least 2 year’s experience involving the above skills, together with proven project management and budgeting experience.

This post is based in our Head Office in Hove with programmes delivered across London. Flexible working arrangements possible.

Salary: £22,500 - £25,500 per annum dependent on qualifications and experience (plus a 10% performance bonus paid annually upon achievements of targets, once probation is passed)
