Would you like to join our team of trustees?  We provide governance and guidance to Sheffcare, a registered charity operating across the Sheffield area. In 1993 a number of care homes were transferred out of local authority ownership into Sheffcare.  We remain committed to making a positive difference to the lives of the people we care for - providing comfort, companionship and compassion to more than 500 older people, including those affected by dementia.
We're proud to be able to say that we are consistently praised by the Care Quality Commission for the quality of the services we deliver.  Each one of our ten homes is different, yet all share the determination to really make a difference to people's lives by providing quality care and a warm, friendly environment.
 
We hold six board meetings a year which we would look to you to attend, as well as carry out occasional visits to one of our services.
