Job Description

The Mental Health Foundation is the UK’s charity for everyone’s mental health. With prevention at the heart of what we do, we aim to find and address the sources of mental health problems so that people and communities can thrive

This is a significant senior role in the Research and Policy team and involves day-to-day management of a portfolio of projects to meet the needs of the Foundations Policy Programme where you will support the Head of Policy & Research and Research Manager.

As a member of the Policy and Research team you will develop and maintain a general a knowledge of policy and issues and service developments spanning both public mental health and service, with a particular focus on equity.

In line with the Foundation’s research strategy and approach, you will be a skilled communicator who can translate research in a way that is accessible to diverse audiences. You will contribute to a range of dissemination and influencing activities o improve public mental health.

You will have strong relationship building skills and will sustain professional networks

You will work closely and collaboratively with colleagues across all of the Foundation’s Department including Policy, Programme, Communications, Campaigns and Fundraising

The post holder will be educated to Master’s level in a course with a substantial training in research methodology and have significant expertise in quantitative methods.
