We run the italk service in partnership with Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust which is one of the largest Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) services in the country.

We are currently recruiting for a Step 2 IAPT Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner - Part time Jobshare – 21.5 hours per week (Monday, Wednesday & Friday)

Based in the East Hub – Gosport, we are looking for Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners with supervisory experience to take the next step in their career in this fast moving IAPT service.  You must be highly motivated, flexible and a strong team player to support your colleagues within the Senior team, as well as needing to provide support and leadership, both clinically and operationally, in your locality teams.  The ability to negotiate and build relationships with external agencies is vital to this role.

The post holder will need a secure knowledge of Step 2 IAPT based treatments in order to deliver these to patients as well as to help develop, support, train and provide clinical supervision to the rest of the team. You will also have opportunities to take the lead in new developments and be part of a service that has achieved consistently high recovery rates.

Successful applicants will need a Postgraduate or Degree Certificate in Psychological Therapies, be able to demonstrate sound knowledge and practice at Step 2, as well as evidence of working in a clinical supervisory capacity and be able to demonstrate strong clinical decision making.
