PROJECT ADMINISTRATOR - MAKE A DIFFERENCE FOR CARERS BREAKS (14 hours a week)
carers in hertfordshire

Job Description

Carers in Hertfordshire is a well-respected, independent, carer-led charity, established in 1995, which aims to ensure that all unpaid family carers within Hertfordshire are recognised and valued, informed and supported in their caring role, have the opportunity for a life outside caring and can exercise a collective voice in the county.  We support adult carers and young carers (aged 8 to 18).  We provide information, problem solving and support.  We also arrange a variety of ways for carers to work closely and collaboratively with professional staff in a wide range of voluntary and statutory organisations to link our services and help those organisations to develop a carer friendly focus.

We are seeking to recruit a Project Administrator who will work within our Development Team at our office in Hertford.  The role includes sourcing and purchasing the service or equipment needed by a carer, whilst negotiating the most cost effective contract, arranging delivery to the carer and payment to the supplier and evaluating health outcomes for carers.

Applicants must be Microsoft Office/Office 365 literate and able to deal with queries promptly and efficiently in person or by telephone.

Interviews: November 2015 (date to be confirmed)
