Job Description

Nottingham Arimathea Trust is looking for a committed and hardworking Resettlement Officer to join the staff team for a new post funded until the end of March 2019 by Nottingham Together (part of Nottingham City Council)

This post will lead the resettlement/move-on of residents living in properties managed by the Trust. To share learning from the position with other stakeholders, staff, students and volunteers engaged in supporting Nottingham Arimathea Trust. We are seeking to use this to increase the throughput of residents allowing us to offer our supported housing to new refugees who have recently gained status and also to widen our scope to provide emergency housing for victims of modern slavery and human trafficking.

Salary is £26,000, based on a working week of 37 hours with 30 days annual leave and a 5% pension contribution.

This is a unique opportunity to develop our work on resettlement by forging new relationships and partnerships with housing providers across the area. There will also be opportunities to share the learning gained from this work across the city with other providers and nationally through the NACCOM network (housing providers working with destitute asylum seekers and refugees nationally).
