Job Description
We are looking to for a dynamic, passionate and experienced Services Manager to lead on and improve the quality of our existing services. The ideal candidate will have extensive project management experience and partnership working.
We operate a busy Centre in Nottingham, providing advice, advocacy, practical support, social & educational activities. In the last year, we supported over 2,000 people and have diverse workforce of 41 staff and over 200 volunteers.
Job Summary
The postholder will be a member of NNRF’s Senior Management Team, contributing to the overall management of the organisation and have responsibility for managing several programmes – viz: the Vulnerable Persons’ Resettlement Programme, Into the Mainstream (Healthcare Access), The Youth Project and the Children & Families Service.
Duties will include:
- Responsibility for the delivery of the above services to the highest standards.
- Supervising and supporting programme staff and volunteers
- Liaison with partner organisations, funders & other relevant bodies
- Programme financial management & monitoring
- Ensuring service user involvement
- Deputising in the Director’s absence.
This role would suit someone who has experience:
- Working in a culturally diverse environment with vulnerable people, preferably with asylum seekers and refugees.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of external agencies, building & nurturing partnerships to enhance services.
- Staff management role, providing supervision, appraisal & support.
- Working with & supporting volunteers.
- Managing contracts, service level agreements & grants
- Financial management including setting budgets & monitoring expenditure.
