Music in Hospitals & Care is a UK registered charity and the leading organisation in the UK dedicated to providing high-quality live music to children and adults in healthcare.  Established in 1948 and delivering around 5,000 live music concerts each year we set out to improve the health and wellbeing of over 100,000 vulnerable people who, as a consequence of sickness, disability or frailty, are unable to experience live music that the rest of us take for granted.

Music in Hospitals & Care is a very special organisation with a long-standing reputation for the delivery of high-quality live music within the healthcare system.  We have an exceptional supporter and donor base, outstanding musicians, highly skilled and specialist staff and dedicated volunteers.  Together, our Trustees form a sound and cohesive board with a breadth of experience that complements and reinforces the skills in our senior management team.  In this role, we are offering a rare chance to give our service users the gift of live music and improved quality of life, something many people quite simply never expected to have.
