Vacancies for Independent Trustee(s)

Mountain Rescue England and Wales (MREW) is an important national charity representing and supporting the work of our highly respected Mountain and Cave rescue teams. The charity is in the process of changing its status to a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) and is embarking on a new and exciting phase of organisational development.

We are now seeking one or two individuals who, between them, will bring a balance of experience, skills and knowledge to the Board of Trustees of the CIO. At present, we would particularly value experience of funding and fund raising, and of operating at strategic level in the business, social or political environment.  Experience in the volunteering, charitable or emergency response sectors would also be desirable.
