Job Description
The Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families supports distressed children and their families through innovative therapeutic practice and research, training and promoting awareness of mental health issues.
We are looking for a dynamic media officer who will take us on the next phase of our journey to being recognised as the leading child mental health charity in the UK. You will be highly organised and flexible, able to turn your hand to simplifying complex issues without compromising the integrity of our work; you will know how to make headlines and support fundraising drives. You will have contacts in the mainstream media and the skills and knowledge to grow our social media footprint. You will have the nous to steer through choppy political waters and mobilise stakeholder support when we need it. In other words, you will be exceptional. That’s why we want you.
The post-holder will be based at the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families, 12 Maresfield Gardens, London NW3 5SU and 1st Floor, Jordan House, 47 Brunswick Place, London N1 6EB.
