Job Description

This is a great opportunity for someone with excellent IT skills interested in working for an organisation that campaigns for a broader approach to global security.

The Campaign Against Arms Trade (CAAT) is a UK-based organisation working to end the destructive force that is the international arms trade. The arms business has a devastating impact on human rights and security, and damages economic development. CAAT is a growing NGO with a supporter base that's expanding as global issues linked to the arms trade become ever more prevalent.

In order to manage the growing IT requirements of the organisation we are looking to recruit a second IT Co-ordinator for three days a week. Responsibilities include:

  • Working on building a new website
  • Developing our online presence
  • Systems administration and IT support

The successful candidate will have strong web development and software development skills, including PHP, JavaScript and SQL. They will also have a good understanding of IT systems and security. In addition, we are looking for someone who supports the aims of the organisation and is able to work in a non-hierarchical setting.

For more information, including how to apply, please visit our website.

The deadline for receiving application forms is midday Monday 8 February.

If you would like to make a positive impact working alongside colleagues committed to ending the arms trade, we would love to hear from you.

The client requests no contact from agencies or media sales.
