HumanSurge is actively seeking qualified candidates – at all levels - to join our roster of experts for short term/temporary assignments with international NGOs working in North Africa, Middle East, Turkey, Myanmar, Thailand, the Sahel and the Horn of Africa. Length of assignments vary from one month to a year.

We are specifically seeking candidates in the following professional occupations: Administration and Finance (Program Support), Advocacy, Camp Coordination and Camp Management (CCCM), Education, Food Security and Livelihood, Coordination and Management, Health, Information Management, and Safety and Security.

Candidates who are not in these functional groups are still invited to apply, however there are no active vacancies at the moment (although this can change at anytime).

Education. A minimum of an undergraduate university degree in a relevant field is required; relevant post graduate degrees are desirable. Candidates registering as safety and security professionals need to have certified security training, preferably in the military or police forces.

Experience. All candidates must have relevant professional experience for the occupational group they are registering for. Usually a minimum of two years of relevant professional experience is required; with some positions requiring over ten years. Work experience in a country affected by conflict and/or natural disasters is highly desirable, but not mandatory.
